[Itinerary Details]

9:00 a.m. Departure from Furama Darling Harbour in Sydney’s Chinatown
Furama Darling Harbour: 68 Harbour St, Haymarket, Sydney NSW 2000 (next to the former Holiday Inn)
10:10 Bald Mountain Lookout → Sea Cliff Bridge
The first stop is one of Australia’s most famous lookouts—Bald Hill Lookout—located at an elevation of about 300 meters, where you can enjoy a 360-degree, unobstructed view of the region’s majestic cliffs, the blue ocean, and a panoramic view of the Sea Cliffs Bridge. This location is also renowned as a premier paragliding site. Travel along the Grand Pacific Drive to take in the scenic views along the route, passing through one of its most striking landmarks—the Sea Cliff Bridge (Sea Cliff Bridge)—a winding road carved into the coastal cliffs. With steep cliffs on one side and the vast, boundless Pacific Ocean on the other, the bridge soars high above the junction of sea and cliff, offering the most enchanting views of the coastline.
11:00 a.m. Wolonggang Harbor Lighthouse
Next, head to the Wollongong Head Lighthouse (Wollongong Head Lighthouse) to admire New South Wales’ first new lighthouse, built in 1903. Constructed of reinforced concrete, it replaced several earlier lighthouses upon completion. The sight of this towering lighthouse, combined with the beautiful harbor views, is truly refreshing!
12:00 Lunch in downtown Wolonggang (included)
12:45 Triumph
This is New South Wales’ first “Victory Monument” dedicated to the theme of “Australian-Chinese Friendship During Wartime.” The design, featuring an exploding landmine, symbolizes the destruction of war and violence. The ladder and friendship knot incorporated into the design symbolize “peace and friendship.”
1:15 p.m. Nantian Temple (Closed on Mondays, except on public holidays)
Nantian Temple is the largest Buddhist temple in the Southern Hemisphere. The temple seamlessly blends traditional and modern architectural styles, and its main structures include the Great Buddha Hall, the Hall of Great Compassion, and the Ling Shan Pagoda. While touring the temple’s architecture, visitors can also enjoy exhibitions, sample vegetarian cuisine, and experience religious ceremonies and festivals.
2:30 p.m. Ka'ama's Magical Water Hole
Next, we drove to a famous and unique attraction in Wollongong—the Kiama Blowhole. This naturally formed rock cave features intermittent geysers erupting from a hole at the top of the cliff, creating a truly spectacular sight and making it a must-see attraction for anyone visiting the area.
※The Water Spout is subject to seasonal variations, and its appearance may vary depending on wind, waves, and weather conditions.
3:10 p.m. Bangbo Cape “Gateway to Heaven”
We arrived at the off-the-beaten-path Instagram hotspot—Bombo Headland Quarry, known as the “Gateway to Heaven.” Its stone columns stand like sentinels, fiercely guarding against the onslaught of the raging waves, lined up in a row along the coast. The central section of the rock formation has collapsed due to prolonged pounding by the waves, creating a shape that closely resembles an open door—hence the name “Gateway to Heaven.” Walking among the columnar basalt pillars feels like strolling on the moon.
3:30 p.m. Gerringong, a small town on the South Coast of New South Wales
The famous painting town of Gerringong is often called the “Painting Village” because of its picturesque scenery. It features magnificent coastal walking trails, an ocean pool, a whale-watching platform, and scenic beaches.
6:30 p.m. Return to the Furama Darling Harbour in Sydney’s Chinatown; end of tour
